4 Quick Onsite SEO Tips

I care for all busy professionals who follow a very tight schedule achieving their goals and following their dreams. If you are a site owner and take serious note on site optimization for SEO then you can’t miss the chance to follow 4 very quick SEO process to follow. These SEO tips will help your site achieve better positions in SERPs.

Incorporating Keywords in Content

Your content will not appear in top SERPs until and unless you define the onsite content with a specific keyword. You have to define the content with a keyword like for example “SEO tips” and can include this keyword 3 to 5 times per page. If you think you have a content which exceeds the maximum limit of keywords you are focusing then you need to break down the content into two pages. Once you have targeted the keyword don’t let it use again for your other topics. You have to select another keyword for every different topic of your site. Another great SEO practice is the use of keyword stemming, which helps to add more keyword variation.

Stop Valuing Garbage

Since the release of Google panda update; strictly focusing on content quality. If site contains invaluable content then Google not only stops to rank site well but also drops the website out of SERPs. So to prevent this you need to personally have a quick go through to your entire site. Looking at each page you have to think if the content is valuable enough to keep, if not then trash it permanently. So what is a good content? A good content is informative, precise, valuable, well researched and helpful. Also avoiding any grammar and spelling mistakes. So don’t keep pages which do not provide value to the audience.

Meta Description

According to Matt Cutts who is the head of Google web spam team mentioned in a seminar that search engine now don’t consider meta description to rank pages. It’s now only for searchers who read the meta description and then click to visit the site. So instead of completely ignoring meta description just because its ignored by the search engine you should take an advantage of writing attractive words to catch searchers attention. You have sufficient 150 characters in which you can easily convince that why your site is better than other in SERPs.

Finding dead links

I have seen mostly sites suffering from dead links or “page not found”. This really annoys both the visitor and the search engine. The best way to avoid this inconvenience is by applying a 404 or a 301 redirect. Use 404 redirect which can simply redirect any non-existing page to the main home page, so how “page not found” occur? simply when the content is removed from the page but the link still exists around the web.  301 redirects a dead link to another page, for example if you decide to shift the content to a new link and you want to retain link value from being destroyed then using 301 is the best solution.
